*huff huff**whew* MAN these dang stripes take a long time! >_< I'm trying not to think about doing a whole other group of four…eeeeeeek!!! 😉
Sorry, btw, that I’m making such slow progress – life has been doing a great job of getting in the way this month. Things should move along more briskly for a couple weeks at least.
😯
Very nice sexy butts if you ask me 😆

September 19, 2007 at 8:46 pm #605171It is a wedding bunny hop! Id love to buy one and if I ever get the money, would commission you for a tiger AND leopard griffin. Do you have plans or have you done leopard print? Id love to see that- especially by someone with your talent. Yet its temptation might cause me to sell an organ to buy it! 😯 😆

😀 No organ selling! LOL! But yes, I’m definitely tempted to do a leopard griffin…These tigers have made me want to do a griffin of just about every big cat! I just need to finish these first… 0_o

I wouldnt get anything even if I did sell an organ! 😆 I’ll simply be content to watch you in progress with these Griffigers and then later, the Griffopards! 😆September 20, 2007 at 3:36 am #605174Oh wow… I love it!! BEAUTIFUL detail!
September 22, 2007 at 5:36 am #605175Ooookie dokie! I’ve got tigers! ^_^ One is almost done, and another is also very close…I could finish them both tomorrow. But I need to know who they’re for, as different people want different things done with the wings!
Drag0n, I’ve PMed you…
purplecat, tc_cat333 – would either of you happen to be ready for a tabby tiger??
(if not, lamortefille and Keplilly are up next…)Let me know who’s ready, and I will tailor your griffin to your liking! ^_^
Here’s a pic from earlier today:
And here is what that middle guy looks like now, in bad lighting with no eyes, unpainted talons and naked wings (lol not flattering circumstances, but you get the idea):
I used a different tiger for reference on the face markings here 😉 I quite like how it turned out.

If you ever do more of these would you add me to the list? 🙂

did it ever cross your mind to do a tutorial?
I love your technique! They are so beautiful and I notice that they still all have unique markings, bonus!
PS: did you remove the eyes when you started on these?September 22, 2007 at 2:25 pm #605179Arlla, those are beautiful! I guess they’re all spoken for. 🙂

PS: did you remove the eyes when you started on these?I’ve thought about it, though so far, you’re the only one who’s asked…I’m not too sure how I would go about making one…I do things so haphazardly, and I break so many rules…mixing brands of paint, etc… Maybe I’ll put something together after I finish these, if anyone actually wants it.
(and yes, I did remove the eyes – but I don’t recomend that anyone else do that!! It’s very, VERY easy to break their faces.)"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."
