oh ya so much betterhonestly I like eminem, I pulled that out of my head so it may not be 100% just making a point, beating women is no better than guns and drugs, which he sings of many a time as well, this song included I believe

I love the part where they get an award for “Smack my ho up, beat that b**** down” and then they priase God…… 🙄
February 12, 2007 at 5:59 pm #536445I was referring to the majority of the songs on his CDs. There’s no artist anywhere whom I agree with entirely, and I think that’s universal.
I get tired of the recurring themes in a lot of hip hop/rap tunes, womanizing of any kind being one of them, but the whining about how ‘it’s hard out here for a pimp’ and how being of color means life is hard and they’re so put upon and hands outs are deserved when I know so many others who went to school, worked hard, over came the odds and did something fantastic.
But I reckon that’s just me. I’m still not sure why you thought you had to make that point, ruff. Perhaps it’ll come to me later on. I wasn’t glorifying everything he raps about, but I certainly don’t remember hearing the same recurring themes on his CDs that I find, on, say, 50 cent’s stuff.

Naw! I LOVE HIM!! I have both of his first CDs and can sing every song! (I have a talent for remembering lyrics, for some reason) but now I just download his popular ones. My son can even recognize him when he comes on the radio. Yeah, Playa!! 8)
February 12, 2007 at 6:11 pm #536449*cracks up* OK!
I have one of his CDs, but I’m afraid I got tired of it quickly, for various reasons, not just he ones listed above. I don’t even remember which one it is, isn’t that sad?
