I figured that DAT is the way lazy people speak now
I wouldn’t say lazy, I would say it is a way to make things more interesting/complicated.

What the heck does that mean??‘Cupcaking’ if I recall correctly, is doing sweet things for your SO. Like opening doors for her, holding hands, sharing a milkshake, etc.
‘Leastways, that’s what it meant when I was in high school, but it’s been a few years.
February 9, 2007 at 6:06 am #536434I hope that kind of language doesn’t take over here. Bad enough to have to listen to it in rap. 😆
February 9, 2007 at 6:20 am #536435I second that GB!
February 9, 2007 at 8:03 am #536436I hope I do not offend anyone but I HATE rap!! I can’t believe that some consider it music
February 9, 2007 at 8:07 am #536437No offence taken, I like some rap, I really dont like one type of music I like almost all of it.
February 9, 2007 at 8:11 am #536438I like a lot but Rap just does not cut it for me

To each their own, G.
February 12, 2007 at 12:34 pm #536440I like a good amount of hip hop…I don’t think it’s quite the same thing, though…
And personally I think that sort of slang is fun! ^_^"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."
-J R R TolkienFebruary 12, 2007 at 12:51 pm #536441It’s fun when it’s original, but most rap just repeats itself: We so bad, women are sex objects, and let’s insult ourselves and everybody around us. Though I admit I’m partial to Eminem.
February 12, 2007 at 5:27 pm #536442I enjoy Eminem myself, to be quite frank. At least he’s rapping about his daughter, and his life, as opposed those poisonous images of pimps and sex and gunshot wounds are OMGKEWL, you must have scars to be a thug, and being a thug is where it’s at.
Heaven forbid you go to school, put on a business suit and make a real place in the world instead of whining and moaning that nobody respects you.
All the people that fought for the black person’s civil rights are spinning in their grave, I’m sure.
(sorry for the minirant.)
