Yesterday we all went to the Iowa State Fair which is supposedly the second biggest attraction across the country, but I don’t know if it’s true or not. This was Chloe’s first time going (except for when she was in my tummy!) They had a couple of newer attractions there that I hadn’t seen before including an animal center where baby animals were showcased with their mommies (vets were there 24/7) and a fun learning experience for kids called Little Hands On The Farm. Here are some pictures!

The CNE opened here this past weekend. Waiting to go next weekend since a friend wants to join us.

The county fair here is over but the state fair is right around the corner. I want to take Alyssa but of course Danny hates to go.

Yep, it was a large tent. I didn’t show it, but they also have a butterfly birthing centre where many cocoons hatch every day.
Okay, I know that Iowa’s fair is farm-oriented because this is a huge farm and livestock state….so what are other fairs like? Are they all farm-oriented?

I know! 😀 The horse is a Clydesdale horse, and Budweiser brought them over for show. I wish I would have seen the show. Also, there were many other animals, but we went on the last day, so many of them went home already.
Aminals are so cute! -
