I have this griffin! (the one in the auction in the original post) It’s like the ONE thing my dad has ever gotten me as a gift that I’ve liked. I don’t know where he got it, but I LOVE it. It’s beautifully done, and really looks just like the illustration. I think he’s just beautiful and is one of my treasured posessions.

Here’s the Griffin. Along with my white and jade cowpies, I got it too! It was a happy day at the mailbox.

By the way, it’s beautiful with lots of exquisite detail. I also like the white marble color of it. Very nice. A nice addition to my collection of treasured items. I’ll take a photo of those for you guys one day.

It looks nice, but just off the photos I keep thinking it needs to be antiqued. 😛

It would look cool antiqued. However, I like the alabaster quality of it as it is. It’s definitely interesting. The camera flash makes it look brilliantly white, and it isn’t that white really.
