I voted.
November 2, 2010 at 4:35 pm #501859November 2, 2010 at 5:23 pm #830741I didn’t want to get up early, so i’m going 2 after work. It’s the least I can do for those who have given their lives for me to have the freedom to do so. *salute smiley* 🙂

November 2, 2010 at 7:39 pm #830743Since I don’t live in the US, that wouldn’t do me any good. 😀

my husband and I are going this afternoon. 🙂
November 2, 2010 at 9:16 pm #830746My sister and I went and voted this afternoon. 🙂 It looked like there was a steady stream of people coming in to the polling place.
November 2, 2010 at 9:56 pm #830747I waited until my son got out of school and took him with me to vote.
November 2, 2010 at 11:09 pm #830748Hubby and I did. Let’s see if our votes help make any difference…

Can only hope. I can tell you, though, not voting never counts. And it makes a difference if lots of people don’t vote. So…YAY! You voted!!
November 3, 2010 at 12:48 am #830750Voted with mom and dad just before work.
Most of my mom’s side of the family doesn’t vote, but I definitely do. When they complain, I tell them they really haven’t got much to say if they can’t be bothered to get off their duff to register and vote. 😛 If someone in some countries is willing to walk over a day just to cast a ballot, I don’t see any excuse why I can’t walk half a block to the town hall to vote (was 3-4 blocks, but now it moved to the old school building… even closer!). I’ve seen votes go where even 1 vote is the deciding factor (seriously!), so no matter how you vote, just do it. It’s easy peasy! 🙂
My twin brother doesn’t. He has to work, but he never wakes up early or gets home early enough, and doesn’t really care much. He’s just lazy. 😛 The older brothers do though.
Hee hee… I felt like a little kid again with the filling in the dot on the paper ballots to put in the machine, only with a pen instead of a #2 pencil, like the scan-trons in school. I miss the old lever voting machines we had! These are just silly! 😈
November 3, 2010 at 12:55 am #830751Yup 🙂 The lines were pretty long so I think our precinct had a pretty big turnout.
November 3, 2010 at 1:14 am #830752I did while Chloe was sleeping (it is only two houses down) I wish that everyone would vote.
November 3, 2010 at 3:14 am #830753Nope.
But I live in Canada, so I don’t count!
