Yeah, and the Rainforest Lap that I won’t be able to afford now. I do really want a Mystery Castle though. I just don’t like to devulge the things I’m going for ahead of time in case it draws someone else’s interest to the item.
It comes from an old habit I got into (a long time ago) with a friend of mine. If I told her I liked a guy, she would go flirt with him. So, I learned to play my cards close and not say a word.
I hear ya I did not say anything about the SK’s I was after until I actually won them. The white one everyone was talking about on the Forum when it ended but since I was logged on nad in the conversation no one knew I was after itWell I got to knock another piece off my wish list too! Golddragon2 was selling both of her orientals on ebay and the high bidder got first pick of which one (s)he wanted. I was going after the peacock one and figured the high bidder would be too…the auction ended and I lost by $0.77 🙁
BUT! I got a second chance offer saying the high bidder wanted the Emerald one! *does dance* so after Christmas, this little beauty gets to come home with me 😈 And all worked out for everyone
Now I just need 3 more Orientals (Peacock Sun, baby ruby and emerald orientals) and I’ll have a big happy Eastern Family!
AND one of the Test Paint Griffins came home with me too! I’ll try to post pictures soonish. He’s soooo gorgeous!!!

Yes, she ended up selling both. Anyone can look and find the auction, so I dont mind. $150.00 brings the Peacock home to me 🙂 I was hoping to get him for less than that, but I figure that’s about average, or about what he’s worth, considering they originally sold for $100, and he’s long since retired.

I got a emerald cat wizard in perfect condition. That was a real Ebay find as I got it for $250! I couldn’t believe it. I was trying to get one from ultdragon and he wanted $400 or $500 for it.
I also got a Ruby lap and Male Ki-rin from SPark. They look wonderful and arrived in perfect condition.
Finally I had a hatching protoceratops. Not quite as thrilled about that one because it looks like it was in a smoking household as the shell is pretty dark. Still, I got it in conjunction with a old green hatcher and they were only like $30 combined.
All in all a great homecoming!
Congrats on the great homecoming! If you ever get tired of teh Emerald Cat Wizard, let me know. It’s the only Wizard piece I’m still missing. I remember that auction. I wasn’t there at the end to keep fighting you for it. Glad it went to someone here.
Well, I don’t know how much you are willing to pay, but ultdragon@yahoo.com may still have the emerald cat wizard he was trying to sell to me. He was asking $400 for it though. That was too rich for me!! Also, someone is selling one at Ebay. Like I said, they were too expensive for me, and I think you could probably get one cheaper, but if you really want one, those are two options.
