Alright, here it is…I painted this last night, so there’s obviously still a lot that needs to be done, but there’s also quite a bit of what is done that’s going to be altered in the end I thing…
That is so PRETTY. I thought the pastelly seashell was nice, but this side is something I’d want to have sat next to my bed or on my computer desk where I can see it all the time.
Well I think there is one thing that is bugging me about it. It is the silver and purple by the wings and the pink on the wings. I can’t place it and it reminds me of something. But I guess I will have to wait until it is finished to give a definate answer.

Nirvana – I’m glad I invited you too! ^_^ You belong here!! And I would love to paint something for you sometime. 😉I will NOT be selling this one – this PYO was a gift from Melody when I visited the factory, and she even let me steal one of her few pairs of lavendar eyes for it. As such, it is a special treasure for me and I will never sell it!
I’m hopefully finishing it tonight (SORRY PHEONIX!! I know I was supposed to start on yours when it got here on Saturday, but I was so close to being done I couldn’t resist! Your’s will get started either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how long this critter demands for finishing touches!) Anyway, I’ll post cruddy pictures of it when I’m done in the wee hours of the morning and then better pics in the sun tomorrow.

Hmm…I don’t know if I’m happy with the finished product or not! It’s very BUSY…I think a simpler color pattern would have probably been prettier. But I do like her – I think I just need to not look at her for a couple days! She was a lot of work to finish up and my hands are still pruney from all the antiquing…
I’ll take better pictures tomorrow. This one with the flash is absolute crud. The base of her wings is golden now, not whatever color it shows up as in the photo…
