Hmm… then again, that fish is really pretty. Eh. I think you should stick with what you’ve got anyways. It’s lovely, and I’m curious to see what the rest of your vision is! The only thing I’d do differently from where you are is add some darker blue. But then… I’m a bluefreak so I guess I’m biased.
I’m not being critical, I just really don’t like the colors! I can’t even give a rational explanation for it. Just…do not like!
I’ve begun painting the other side differently…and I’m sad to say to all those who like the shell side that I like the other side MUCH better! I’m sure everyone else will hate it, cuz that’s the way these things work. ^_^ But seeing as this is my baby, my very special gift from Melody, and I’m never ever going to sell it…I figure I’m the one I really have to please here.
Which makes me an a$$ for asking everyone’s opinions on the shell colors and then disregarding them!! XD Sorry!! If I had more than one of these in lavendar eyes, I would ABSOLUTELY finish this one with the shell colors. Even if I hated it, it would be a really fun exercise.

Alright, here it is…I painted this last night, so there’s obviously still a lot that needs to be done, but there’s also quite a bit of what is done that’s going to be altered in the end I thing…

OH! The wings are INTENSE! They look SO REAL! Like he could just fly away! Like he could fly to my doorstep! LOL! I love the facial markings too. I can’t WAIT TO paint one myself! Though now I am SUPER paranoid it won’t even hold a candle to this! *gasp* It’s just too BEAUTIFUL! ……….did I forget to mention it was beautiful? LOLOkay, Though I run the risk of sounding like an annoying rabid fangirl, but if ever and whenever (probably never, but you never know) this ever goes up for sale I call DIBS! *jumps up and down* hahaha!
