OMG I got mine, Siberakh1 I love LOVE LOVE her, she is so pretty, I will bring her to work tonight so I can take pics and post them. She is all blue and purples and greens with the sweetest little note and drawing, again I love her and thank you 😀
As side note, it is a little ironic, DragonMedley will understand this, as will everyone else when my swapee gets theirs 😆 .

Oh good! I’m glad you like her and that she arrived safe! (Especially since she got triple boxed, thanks to the guy at the post office – the priority tape meant it would have arrived faster, but cost me an arm and a leg, so he offered another box to cover it up!). You didn’t give me much to go on, so I snuck a peak at the ‘Your top 5 favorites’ topic in the Community thread and saw what colors you like and noticed that you liked orchids. So, off to Google I went and, though I found some more complex ideas, I saw that picture and the info on that flower and was like, yay! Special thanks to drag0nfeathers and some eye switching from a pyo griffin I got made him possible! 😀 I was biting my nails when the dragons disappeared from the store 😯 (and I got too busy at work to order one when they were around!).
I’ll see if I can post the pics I took (I think they came out… I haven’t checked! 😆 ). I was having trouble photographing the purple and having the yellow show up in the photos. Just need to load them to photobucket. *hopes for a quiet moment for the next few minutes*

Here are pics of the dragon I did for Ruffian (I hope you don’t mind me posting them up :oops:). It is based off of a Blue Lady Orchid (inspiration photo below) which, incidently, blooms at this time of year… in Western Australia. 😉 The tail stone is a simulated diamond.

I just randomly listed my favorite colors… I wasn’t expecting them all together! And it makes me happy that they are 😀
Random question, why does he smell like turpentine?
Perhaps you are smelling the permanent marker I sign with? Or the clear coat? 😯 He hasn’t been anywhere near turpentine. 😕
I signed his pad shortly before I boxed him up. That is all I can think of. I’m sure the smell will go away 🙂 Both me and my fiancee smelled turpentine though. But I kinda chemical burned my nose with concentration hydrochloric acid (I don’t recommend it) so my smell might be a bit off lol
I wonder if gold leaf has a funky smell…Who knows. I know the smell of the clear coat is nasty when fresh. I don’t even use any type of thinner. That is weird. :shrug:
