I know the feels of a bad name pick myself, I had a kitten named Milo in high school, his mother had the kittens in our side yard, I named my kitten and all the others….there was one I had trouble with, a white girl, I didn’t want to name her Snowball or Misty so as a place-saver I named her Whitey and it stuck, she wouldn’t respond to anything else at the time….yelling that was awkward when I couldn’t find her….she later moved on to a new home with a new name but still I remember feeling rather awkward calling her before she found a new home…
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. We have a little terrier mix and as a puppy we couldn’t figure out what to name her…. I wanted to use ‘Cassey’ but my Hubby didn’t like the name but couldn’t come up with one of his own. Well, since we couldn’t decide, when I called her I would be like… “Hey little girl, oh you are such a good little girlie, aren’t you…” all the time and my Hubby, out of frustration one day, just said, “You call her that so much, that might as well be her name since she’s probably used to it by now!” … So our little girl is named ‘Girlie’ and has been for over 13 years! Sh’e such a good little Girlie-girl! 😀

My brother couldn’t say Bandit, it sounded like “Dammit”. I remember rolling on the floor laughing because when we would go for walks on the beach with the dog my brother would keep yelling, “DAMMIT, COME HERE!”. XD
October 2, 2013 at 5:28 pm #903614Long ago (in a galaxy far, far away), when my aunt go a cat, my cousin decided to name it Max. One day, Max gave birth to a litter of kittens and was thus renamed Maxette.
I had a turtle named Gougoune (a slang word for flip-flops in Québec), a ferret called Mitaine and now, two dogs named Merlot and Shiraz.

October 3, 2013 at 11:30 am #903682My sister used to name her cats all the different street names for marijuana: Mary Jane, Nervana, Kanana, etc.(This was 30 years ago) However, her most politically incorrect name was a black kitten named “little nigger”. Did I mention that she is a racist?….
