How to enter monthly raffle?

I’m a subscriber to Melody on Elfwood, and one of her newest posts had a comment in the description about a monthly raffle on the Windstone forum. I tried the search function and just came up with a massive amount of “will there be a raffle this month” threads. So in lacking another thread to look to,

How do I enter this monthly raffle? Is there a cost for entry, or is it a free thing? And is it possible to know what the prize will be ahead of time?

But basically the raffles are free, Melody almost always posts pictures ahead of time (sometimes she does raffles for a complete surprise piece though), and to enter you send her an email. She always posts her email address when she posts the raffle prize, which is usually in her blog. (You can get to her blog in the top menu, under the ‘community’ tab.)
