How common is it for glass eyes to have defects/bubbles in them?

I’m just wondering this out of curiousity, because the last two or three that I’ve received have had teensy bubbles in them, so is this a common thing?

I haven’t seen bubbles in mine although I have received a couple pieces with small eyes with lines or cracks on the edges so I think they were just small defects that got missed as they can be hard to see in the eyes until they are in the sculpt I think. Maybe that is something Windstone might have to watch for if they get in eyes with some small defects.
