Well, glad to know at least my inclination was right regarding this scheme on the griffins. I knew this fellow would sell for a pretty penny as soon as I saw it. compared to what Griffins have been going for as of late, this was a pretty decent sale for Windstone.

I was going to try painting a griffin in similar colors, like this kingfisher. It would have some feather barring,a black stripe through the eye and maybe white patches. I wonder if we could do a lp batch like this? It shouldn’t be much harder than a wolf or ocelot griffin, I don’t think.

A lp batch of kingfisher griffins would be amazing!!! The white patches would be a lovely addition to the color scheme, too.
