Ok so for the first time in my life I have a true “art studio” 😀 But now I have artist block!!!I hate when this happens. So what should I start sculpting? I’m working on a new “Dragonflutter” a big monarch one but I like to have more that one going at a time. Here is a list of what I’m thinking of I just can’t make up my mind.
A Chimera~kind of like the one in my gallery (the ACEO)
New weird Griffin or “Gryphling” part bird of prey and house cat like this one or the others in my gallery

        A Kirin
        Another dragon wetern or Asian?
        Hippogriff
Or maybe a phoenix or a new fairy

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions it would be really really helpfull
        Thanks!

Congrats on your new studio! I’d like to see your version of a Hippogriff. Adding a poll to this might have made it easier to follow. 🙂

Not on an existing thread. You’d have to start a new one.

when I have an art block I used to pick my favourit subject and “go big” (I once made a dragon as big as a medium cat)
with all the biggety also came more space for experimenting and time to think and change. He is different to all my dragon as he had no “plan”.
Or, and that I do more often, is to think what I havent done before. A new challenge. Close to my favourit subjects but still with a twist that makes it against my mainstream. Running figures, double figures, flying figures, there is no limit out there, figures with with a special media added, figures with extra detail, figures in special clays (mixed colors)

I envy you for your new studio. congrats 🙂 you must post pictures.
I do have a smaller studio for my giant figures but my everyday work I have to do in my room or on my lap infront of the TV. Somewhere thats good because I like to have my surrounding with stereo and everyday materials. But yes I have polymerclay in my carpet

I’m with you, NEW Work. Replicating your past works is really production. My best selling artist is a potter who had these incredable crazy fish. I sold them for 3 yrs. He got tired and quit. Cost me maybe a few thou $ in fish futures, but I applauded the move forward, New work is essential to maintaining your best level of creativity.
