Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the good wishes and positive thoughts. Today was much better – beautiful weather and saw a lot of dolphins. One was even doing breaching behavior! No whales – it’s amazing how hard it is to find a 50 ton critter in the Atlantic Ocean.
So I’m just trying to take it a day at a time. Thanks so much for letting me vent – some days are just a little bit harder that others.I’m with Starbreeze, vent all you want here. From what I understand, that’s what we’re here for. You have a very serious reason to vent–your life is involved. It it makes you feel better, go ahead–we’re all eyes and ears!
Well, today is a MUCH better day – I had my follow up MRI this morning and all the lesions are either better or gone!
The funny thing is the doctor still isn’t sure if the lesions are a result of one of the chemo drugs or were very small mets that responded to the chemo I got 3 weeks ago and the prednisone that I’m on (which has made me gain all the weight I lost back – total bummer) BUT it means I don’t need radiation, won’t have symptoms and just had 3 chemo drugs today! So I’m really, really happy. My sister from Boston was on Long Island for a business trip and she extended it a day so she could be with me just in case. So during chemo we played 6 games of backgammon (split them), had a blast and then went to Dairy Queen for Peanut Buster Parfaits to celebrate. Ok, so I can’t blame all the weight gain on the prednisone. 
But I really do appreciate everybodies’ good wishes and positive thoughts. They really did help. Thank you!
