CB I can handle if it’s done rightMarch 17, 2008 at 8:29 pm #679970You’re welcome to come for supper (you don’t have to eat the cabbage, I don’t make my boys eat it either; but my corned beef is to die for even if I do say so myself!)

March 17, 2008 at 9:37 pm #679971I love corned beef and cabbage but we will have ours tomorrow because I am off work then.
March 17, 2008 at 9:47 pm #679972We’re having cornbeef minus the cabbage, since I’m the only one who would eat it!!! π Interesting about the date change….no one around here mentioned it being the 15th and all the calendars do say today. π
Anyway, Happy St. Paddy’s Day!!! π
March 17, 2008 at 9:49 pm #679973I’m not catholic so I don’t care if the date was changed by the Pope or not.Happy St. Patricks Day!
No one around here wore green on Saturday. Today everyone was but me and a few others. I had to work so red and black was what I wore. I was going to wear a green thing in my hair I just forgot…. but, my avatar on gaia was wearing green today from head to toe.
I’m partially Irish and I know alittle about the orange and the green but, I don’t remember truthfully…
March 17, 2008 at 10:15 pm #679974I was told here, at work, that it had something to do with a religious war many centuries ago

Some of us are already OLD!!
You and I are about the same age, and I am NOT old!
And with all the bombings in Belfast, etc. in the last decade or two, I don’t think the war is that old.
March 17, 2008 at 10:27 pm #679976Mr. Trivia (wheather you want to know it or not!) was talking about it earlier today
Some days I feel older then others. I have a meeting tonight I do not want to go to but as Secretary I have to be there. I can’t wait until Septemeber when I’m not on the board of driectors of this organization any more
In reading here we celebrate the death of St.Patrick on this day. How can the church change the day a person dies??
March 17, 2008 at 11:22 pm #679977We’re having corned beef and cabbage for supper (it’s cooking now. It’s one of those all day things to cook) and then we’ll have green birthday cake because it’s my brother Edwards’ birthday (he the youngest of the six of us and all us kids wanted to name him ‘Patrick O’ Seanacy Marshall’ and our parents said NO!!!!!!!)

March 18, 2008 at 2:04 am #679982We decided to go out to dinner tonight….everywhere was packed, so I don’t think anyone listened to the Pope. π
March 18, 2008 at 2:45 am #679983I wear green, although I have to support the Orange AND the Green. My mother is Protestant, my father is Catholic and I was both baptized and raised in both churches. Good thing I don’t live in Ireland π
