Taken down out of respect for John’s decision on repaints.

April 26, 2011 at 12:19 am #843492You did a great job, Hannah. I liked this theme on your Keeper, but I love it on the Male. The blue/gold design just seems to flow down and around his tail and captures the eye. I realize now that I never paid much attention to just how long and sinuous that tail really is; your design highlights it beautifully. π

April 26, 2011 at 6:59 pm #843587Oh you know I LOVE him! I just noticed the how you painted the scales on his fore head look like a scarab! Just awesome! You know if he ever needs a home…. Hehe!
April 26, 2011 at 9:43 pm #843609wow. i don’t like the male dragon sculpt in general, but that is amazing!!!! it really suits it well. well done!

April 26, 2011 at 10:22 pm #843611Thanks so much Leigha and daydreamer π It means a lot!
Griffinlover – thank you!! I’m glad that you noticed the bit about his nose! I was staring at a picture of a scarab for a while trying to figure out how I could incorporate it into the scheme. I was going to antique that area of the nose deep blue to try to give the scarab some “legs” but decided against it π Good eye!

This was done by the request of another forum member and will very likely be going to that person for his forever-home π
He was based on my “Sunspot” color scheme, but he’s a bit darker and more orange π He also has metallic gold eyes and new gems in his forehead.
This is Solar Flare:
