Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Unfortunately I doubt I’ll be in the mood this year. I hope to do a PYO or two and get work done around the house during October since we won’t be doing our normal mid-Oct vacation. Lost our hunt lease due to the property being sold by the owner – that was a bad trick on us this month. So very bummed about that. We have had that lease since 1994 and now no prospects for the future. Nope – not in the mood. Thanksgiving won’t be very good either since that week and first week in Dec was an even bigger vacation at the property for us. Maybe I’ll be better for Christmas.
I love seeing your costumes though – both very nice, VS and Mimi.
Oh MAN! Another ‘TRICK’ thrown our way! We just can’t catch a break! Definitely not in Any Happy Spirit now! Our May Charter fishing trip in May had to be rescheduled due to COVID, so we rescheduled for Oct. 6th… This past Tuesday the Capt. contacted us, his boat motor blew up and he had to cancel but told us about a ‘Head’ boat going out Oct.6th we might be interested in. We went ahead and booked so we would be able to go on our fishing trip after all. Well – I just canceled THAT! Hubby hasn’t been feeling right since Wednesday and is now concerned… he’s getting a COVID test tomorrow. So – No hunting this Fall, no fishing this week and we probably won’t reschedule at this point… Crap! I hope he doesn’t have it, and if he does, I hope I don’t get it but of course family in close quarters… :/ And I need to start using some of my vacation time at work or I’ll loose it – I’ve racked up 190 hours and the max to keep is 200 hours. Nothing like taking vacation and not going anywhere or being sick (or taking care of someone). 2020 is starting to be the pits!

I’m watching a different vendor (Bushaeng, I think?) who is making a snake skull one, as that’s perfect for my next project – Quexacoatl (skull version)!
Just a thought tho from years washing cars as a kid: the leather chamois, when wet, is both shapable and stretchable, and… well, it was skin, so…Man, El hara, you can’t catch a break! I hope he gets better soon and that you guys can squeeze in a little fun.
Setsuna, I was actually talking to bf’s mom and we laughed that she could just throw the candy to kids over the fence when they come. I don’t know how old your little one is but it’s still a way people can trick or treat, just gotta wash hands a bit. Maybe the neghborhood could have a walk-by costume parade of sirts? Or maybe a skype costume contest with friends? Some church here had a sign that they’re giving free Halloween packs if anyone wants, likely some candy and fun stuff. Hopefully something similar is near you?
Lol everyone has that skull head! Here’s me on a giant inflatable at the first and only furcon I went to (it was in January before all this mess hit). His name is Harvester and he’s a Wendigo (I’ve since made him new, cloven hooved feet. Still need to redo his hands). He has two sets of horns and yes, the head is heavy…
Are any Halloween activities even going on this year? I normally go to a place in the center of a town about 45 minutes away from me… but that’s just hundreds of people smashed together so I doubt that’ll be happening this year. I was going to finally make a body suit for Harvester here for Halloween, but now with all this mess? :/ Halloween is the only holiday I celebrate, so I’m a bit bummed.

I’m going to keep my porch light off. No Halloween celebrations for us. This year just won’t be the same. Looking forward to 2021 now. I’m over 2020 – the end of December can’t come soon enough. My little one is 3. She is suppose to bring her costume to Daycare for a special treat/Halloween event. That maybe our only event, but at least it’s something.

Sun Dragon Koi #3One event may be enough for a three year old. Sometimes I get little ones trick-or-treating at my house. They are happy to get the candy, and very cute, but most don’t really understand what is going on. They usually need to be prompted to say “Trick or Treat”.
She gets trick or treating. She went with her older cousins last year and after the 1st house she had it down pat. She asked about trick or treating last night, lol.

Don’t do it Drag0n lol they look neat but they are, literally, a pain. Hurts my neck to wear him for anything longer than, I’d say, a half hour. I should weigh him one of these days and see just how much he weighs.

Well I got the ones that were thin plastic on the outside and filled with expanding foam on the inside so it makes them really light. I bought 3 sets of horns and was so torn of which set to use I ended up procrastinating my way through Halloween (which is why I just put my hood up for the time being) I also got a pair that were molded after I think a type of antelope and the other are the curled ram horns. Decisions decisions… If only I could rig is so they were all interchangeable.

You totally can, just use magnets! I was going to use magnets at first but then I figured, what’s the point if I don’t intend to take them off.
Yeah I got the full resin ones. My issue was I wanted ones that looked the most symmetrical, and curved a certain way (I’m too picky).
