yes wolfen i was sweating bullets initially, but he was pretty cozy in my bag. the shopkeeper wrapped him nicey-nice in lots of sheets of paper, taped it up, then i wrapped him in two bath towels and put him head up in my bag! my biggest concern was if i banged into something if his nose would get chipped, but he got home juuuuuust fine, lol. sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do! i wish the shopkeeper kept the box, but it was too big to keep in his tiny shop.i would have really liked it though to have it on hand if i ever moved.
Yeah, the boxes are great for moving.
When I first moved last summer, I didn’t have ANY original boxes at all! But everything survived anyhow, thankfully. This last move I had boxes for better than half of them, and wasn’t moving as far, and they all came through okay again! Though several of them made the trip over here on my lap, just to be sure they’d be okay.
