Not to be picky, but could you use some punctuation marks, Whistful? This is really hard to read. Thanks. 😆 I was gonna ask about using periods in another thread. 😆 It is tough to read, Wistful. It seems like one big ramble (AKA Run-on sentence) No, we are not horribly picky on grammer or anything, but its a little too much.
Like I said before, I’m an English teacher. I just can’t help myself. 🙂 It’s really hard to figure out where ideas stop and a new one starts. Just some periods. That’s all I ask.
February 18, 2007 at 5:53 pm #539970I don’t know why but I flashed on that line from Grease “I feel like a defective typewriter…I missed a period.”
I need sleep.

I was going to ask the same thing. 🙂 I’m glad you guys already brought it up.February 19, 2007 at 10:37 am #539973well most of my posts … are before bed early am hours, by that time i can’t see to type let alone think much, plus on chats i got tired of getting yelled at for using my punctuation incorrectly so i simply stopped :p . Bad habit i know. and yes I ramble on i blame it on too many long days at walmart. i get home play housewife/caretaker, then crawl into bed. you can yell at me all you want .. i doubt it will help, sorry. if it becomes too much of an issue i will simply stop posting rather than make trouble. One of the reason’s i waited to sign up was to read up here on how people talk. i have a hard time fitting in anywhere in the beginging, so i am quite used to it by now
Cheers 🙂February 19, 2007 at 11:00 am #539974oh. maybe a need to clarify . I’m not offended or upset. i realise my grammar and spelling is horrid but i don’t have alot of time to finesse and practice it, when i’m at work i spend more time speaking in broken spanish to help customers than i do in english. it took me weeks of getting yelled at to stop using “then” when it should have been “than” on irc chat. if you can bear with me i may improve but don’t count on it, it’s just part of how and who i am for now. 3 am and time for bed 🙂
February 19, 2007 at 11:43 am #539975These two posts are already much easier to read, Whistful. If this forum lets you feel like a real English-speaking American and at least type, if not speak, in your native language, instead of feeling like your state is being taken over by Latino imports who refuse to learn our language, please stay around. Just keep the punctuation and maybe add some capitalization as you go along. We welcomed you, and we meant it. 😉
February 19, 2007 at 12:20 pm #539976I agree. Those were much easier to read (Thank you!!) and this is not so much a chat room as a community. 🙂 and I much prefer improper punctuation to none at all. I will not be nit-picky, I promise. 😀
February 19, 2007 at 2:38 pm #539977Yep. Much better. Thanks.
February 19, 2007 at 3:27 pm #539978Yes, that’s much easier to read!
February 21, 2007 at 1:28 am #539979Please do not leave I left for a week due to something similiar. Everyone got used to me trying to type at work in between calls. I read things fine but maybe that is the way my brain works.
