Again, I am confused. 😕
July 27, 2008 at 4:29 am #725272I think it’s more like “goggle”

that’s what we used to call them when we lived in NJ..
July 27, 2008 at 1:14 pm #725274You’re not getting any sympathies from me! I’ve had to wear glasses since I was 6. Over the years, I’ve had the nerd look and the teacher look, so 😛
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Pd once tried to get me to have the laser eye surgery but i passed i think i look “Weird” with out my glasses…although some of them my mother piced out when i was young werent perticulatly attractive , like the Aviator fromes that took up half my face 😛
July 27, 2008 at 3:50 pm #725276I wore glasses from age 12 until age 38, when I had lasik. So happy! I do need reading glasses sometimes now though. Er!
July 27, 2008 at 5:02 pm #725277I’ve had glasses since I was 12 too and still do. I’m a good candidate for lazer surgery but I have other things to worry about first. 🙁 Bummer! I hate glasses in the winter specialy
July 27, 2008 at 5:48 pm #725278Oh, glasses! Hahahahahaaaaaa…. *feels smrt*
I’ve had them since grade 11. I prefer how I look without them, but I would be a terrible candidate for laser surgery, since my prescription changes with my blood sugar. So I’d have to be the perfect blood sugar when I got it and that would be… interesting to say the least. That and I know a couple of people who need it more then I do… their glasses cost over $400 for the lenses! 😯
July 27, 2008 at 7:11 pm #725279you guys are right, (sorry my absurd humour often leaves questionmarks on peoples faces, since it allways about twisting words that can be twisted) ((now I am humming Annie Ross’s Twisted… My analyst told me…))
and I was not seeking sympathy, I LOVE GLASSESS, I think they often give personalitys some edge
but about the 400$ lenses, there wouldn’t be a Coca Cola logo on them??? (I mean how thick are they????)

Glasses arent thick any more since the plastics they use now can hold up to a very strong perscription “Coke Bottle Glasses ” no longer exist.
400 bucks isnt really out of the norm if you get the anti-scratch and fog coating and a tint ..the price really starts to climb then
July 27, 2008 at 8:14 pm #725281I got the Silhouette frameless glasses. I do have the equivalent of a coca cola lense on the left, so even with the plastic lenses, with the frames, they’re heavy. Frameless is the way to go, but they are costly, about 400-500$!
It figures, right? The lesser the frame, the costlier…

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJuly 27, 2008 at 8:17 pm #725282I started wearing Glasses at the age of 20 and I’m not 42 so I’m us3ed to them. I was shocked whe I had to get them at 20 though
July 27, 2008 at 9:04 pm #725283I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 6 too. And I can’t get lasik surgery because I have dry eyes sometimes and that is a big no-no according to them. And it would cost me $4000 but that’s a different problem. 🙄
