It took me a while to post because I just couldn’t think that straight…
On May 20th, my mother passed away suddenly. It was an absolute shock for all of us.
She passed from the complications of a heart attack in her home, completely unaware that what she had been going through was indeed a heart problem. Thankfully, it was immediate, so she didn’t suffer.
Aside from my brother, all our family is in France, so we delayed the funeral to this weekend. I’m slowly coming to terms with it; I was very close to my mother and even more so since my father’s illness.
My brother and I were starting to plan her 65th birthday, which was coming up in October. If you can, hug your mom for me.
