I just read those ones! Very lighthearted, in a tongue in cheek sort of way but not like Piers Anthony. They were brainless to read, in a good way. 🙂

I know what you mean about the tongue and cheek. I like it 😀 and sometimes not having all the suffering and tragedy that most of the characters in my usual fare endure is bit of a nice respite. They are simple stories, but I have found they are good ones to read out-loud. My brother and I read a ton of fantasy, but most of the time we read separately however once in a while we will pick a lighter series to read together. That one was in several parts makes us both laugh out-loud and end up on crazy tangents. 😆

Pern was mentioned ,but just incase . The book series is over 20 books and written by Anne McCaffrey and now her son Todd McCaffrey as well . I’m addicted to this series . I’ve read the original series (Dragonflight , Dragonquest , White Dragon , Dragonsong , Dragonsinger and Dragondrums) 11 times . It’s a world I love revisiting . As for which book to start with ? Any . My first was Dragondrums . The first written book was Dragonflight , But how humans first came to Pern and how dragons were created is in Dragonsdawn. I hope this helps someone curious about the books .
