Gettysburg Remembrance Day Parade

We went to the Gettysburg Remembrance Day parade today. It was cold and I could barely fit into the dress I bought last spring (I knew I would be pregnant so I got a large size dress but it still didn’t fit). On the way up we stopped at a gas station so I could use the bathroom and I couldnt’ get my car back into gear. I was so upset since we where far away from home and I didn’t have the money for a mechanic but thank god it was something stupid and I fixed it so we could be on our marry way. This was the first year we made it to the parade. Usually we just come up for the ball they have at night. We didn’t do the ball this year because I can’t fit in my ball gown 🙁

How is the baby shower coming or has it happened and how was it handled?? Where was/is it happening at

Hubby is doing great, he walked all over Gettysburg and left me in the dust lol. He hasn’t been able to do that for years. It got to the point that I couldn’t keep up with him and I had to tell him to stop showing off. I’m not used to him walking without having to stop or without his oxygen. The baby shower is tomorrow and my mom moved it so it will be at my grandmothers house. I’m crossing my fingers that all will go well and she doesn’t act up. She has already had my dad make comments about how hard she has worked and that I better appreciate it. I’ll just be glad when its over.

Thanks for posting your pics. I visited Gettysburg last summer and found it fascinating. I’ll have to go back. We didn’t have time to see everything. 🙂

I’ll post up after the shower is over. I have enough of my friends coming that I hope to cancel out any drama my mom may try to start. My brother has already said he is going to come so it should be fun between him, my husband, and Jason. They are such comic relief when put together.

Sooo great that your husband was outpacing you. 😉 It wasn’t that long ago we were wondering if he would get a transplant in time… I’m happy you are out and enjoying yourselves. Best of Luck with the shower. 😀
