Well I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB this weekend after discovering another complaint about delivery. My package arrived today. The book is in wonderful shape and so is what I assume is a “Sorry we took so long” matted print.
The matted print I had ordered though was damaged. The mat is creased and the foam core board they attached the print to is smooshed. *Sigh* I sent an email to the BBB that is handling my claim to see if I should contact them about the damage or wait for them to respond to the complaint.
I just looked and I can pull the mat off the board easy and it looks like I can do the same with the print so I don’t think I’m going to worry about the damage and just take to to my favorite framer and let him work his magic on it.
Oh and still no contact from the artist as to what the delay was.
