Generally when I think wyvern I think a dragon with no front legs – as anatomically correct as you can get a mythological creature, in that case. However, in my WIP story, I made the wyverns bulky and bat-like, to distinguish them from the six-limbed dragons.So like bats with tails? Sounds really cute!
Actually, they’re rather ugly. I’ve got some loose sketches floating around but haven’t done anything decent yet. After I finish my current WIP (incidentally also a wyvern, but based off a pterodactyl; basically wing-hand and color pencil practice) I’ll ink a picture, though, so I can show you, if you like.
