My military father speaks of how they cook bacon in the mess when he was in the corps …

in the oven on slices of bread (use bread to soak up the grease) now you have crisp bacon and bacon flavored bread .. mmmm good eats

too bad bacon is a big no no for me i miss BOT (cbacon onion tomato) sammich
