I hope she is OK has anyone heard from her or Phil lately?They’re both fine, DM. Usually they’re busy with school; over the holidays they’re taking it a bit easier with family. Don’t worry; I keep in touch with them pretty regular. 😉
I just joined this forum tonight to let you all know that it was my wife who won the last 2 SK’s, the wineberry and the silver, on e-bay and we are “REAL” people. These were a very special Christmas present to me since she knows that I love Melody’s dragons. I don’t have a large collection, with these 2, nine pieces, but she knew that I really wanted a SK since I first saw them on the website and she was lucky enough to win both. I apologize if there have been problems with people fraudulently bidding on some of these pieces, but it was not us! I am quite offended that you would automatically assume that since I was not already a member of your forum that I or my wife were trying to “jack up” the bids. If you hadn’t noticed, the other SK’s that have previously been auctioned went for about the same price if not more! If the bidding on these pieces had been limited or restricted to forum members only, I would not now be looking forward to receiving one, or should I say 2 of the best Christmas gifts I’ve received since my daughter was born. She’s always number 1!!! By the way, I’m really looking forward to is being shot in the ears, hacked to pieces and having my body parts being shipped across the border to become ash in some person’s uncle’s creamatorium or being dumped in an alligator infested lake. Nice!

Heavens, of course those nasty comments were not aimed at you!…Or any “real” bidder. We are just enjoying venting our collective spleens at some unknown anonymous hacker who has been maliciously messing up the auctions lately. You are most welcome to join our happy clan (non-violent, really)

If you decide to stick around you will find that that seems to be the way conversations go around here.
I hope you do stick around since we need more guys here and anyone that LOVES Melody’s work enough to buy 2 SK’s back to back like that deserves to be hereI hope you can see that we where having problems with at lesat 1 maybe more fraud bidders on e-bay and as you can see even though most of us do not work for Windstone or Melody directly we all have the instinct to protect her and the company.

How long have you been collecting Winfstones and how many do you have?

Enjoy the SKs, maybe someday I’ll be able to see one in person. Lord knows I’ll never ever be able to afford one. Welcome again. 😀
