My husband was going to make bookends out of them but that never happened. I thought they were Chinese dragons. They are white and I did see a pair at an antique show once. When I find them again I’ll post pictures [or have someone help me if I have trouble]. I think what I have are foo dogs but you all can be the judge.
When are the foo dogs arriving?
I never have the slightest idea when things will happen. However, I finished carving the plaster foopup yesterday and he will get a test mold made, probably Monday, so he is moving right along. The adult Foo is still having a second generation mold made( so I can continue working on the plaster), so she will be in the works longer.
OH HAPPY DAYS! I have an 18″ plastic stone garden Foo Dog that guards my room so I’m REALLY stoked to have a windstone family to add more foo =3 Now I really gotta rev my butt up to finish the hoard of PYO’s in my closet ;>>
RE: Anatomical Differences – Since the Foo Dogs remind me of our Pug Mix, I think the female should be really needy, maintaining eye contact, and in a Lap position and I think the male should be raising his hind leg.
