Are you going to go after the Flame Point too, Arlla?
😳 Jeez, I know, I feel greedy…I’ve gotten lots of good stuff lately…but yes, I’m definitely going after the male. I’ve been waiting for him for a while! I was going to try for the whole family, but I’m not too sure about the female now…I need to see them in person!
Hey, have at ’em and best of luck! It’s cool when they stay in teh family. 😀
November 16, 2007 at 10:02 am #626013Well, I had to make Melody go and find the female griffin XD But she did, and I got to see them both. They’re so pretty!!!! ;_; They are definitely less red than they look in Nam’s photos, but also brighter and prettier than they look in the ebay photos…It’s funny, because in the photos, I liked the male better hands down. But seeing them in person, I do like the redness of the females markings better. Though I think the male is still my fav….problem is, I was all set to just get the one, and now I’m back to wanting the whole family again… >_0
Here’s my lousy snapshot of the happy couple on the ebay table:Along with some flap cats, a few empeas, and Nam’s rocky mountain uni! 😀

Well, you know, I want to be invited back! ;D But it’s true, the temptation there is pretty stifling. 0_o

I can’t even imagine… I think I would be begging her to put price tags on stuff, so I could buy them and take them with me.
November 16, 2007 at 12:42 pm #626017😆 😆 I’m really hoping to get to go sometime next year. It will be a major trip for me though. 😀 That many windstones in one place I’m likely to go into a drool coma… 🙄
November 16, 2007 at 1:17 pm #626018Great photo, Arlla! Drool.
November 16, 2007 at 1:23 pm #626019I love that female griffin! Soooooooo purdy!!!!

He is so beautiful.
OK. But would he be a Canadian citizen or an American citizen? 😀
DualNovember 16, 2007 at 2:13 pm #626021Thank you for posting the photo! I’d say from looking at the Ebay auction photos, Nam’s, and your own, I like the male’s coloring much better. I like the more subtle feather detailing.
November 16, 2007 at 2:35 pm #626022me too. 🙂
November 16, 2007 at 4:33 pm #626023The other griffin in the background is that the Barred Wing Wolf Griffin that’s up on eBay now?
November 16, 2007 at 6:54 pm #626024I want to know about that unicorn in the lower right hand corner of you picture!
November 16, 2007 at 7:03 pm #626025Arlla, do you just “walk in” or do you have to ask Melody first? I mean, if you just showed up at the door would they let you in? XD
I’m only in Cali once a year regularly (sometimes more, but only once for sure), so it would be cool if we were allowed to just wander in at random.November 16, 2007 at 9:26 pm #626026Kujacker wrote:Arlla, do you just “walk in” or do you have to ask Melody first? I don’t know if they’d appreciate an unannounced visit…and there’s no gaurantee that anyone but Karen and or Susie would be there, and they’re very busy all day – and they aren’t just going to let people out on the factory floor by themselves, someone has to go with you, and if whoever’s there is too busy to do that you’d be stuck. You really want them to be prepared for you so that you can get the tour of the factory and drool over everything. I swear, the first time I went I couldn’t function properly. There’s so much to look at it’s just overwhelming!
