Fenton Factory closing

I had a few carnival glass owls by Fenton. I actually got a few off Ebay several years ago. I still love their Favrene color the best though.

They had some cats and birds there when I went lamortefille. They actually had some of the large alley cat on sale for only $20.00 each!!! I should have grabbed one, even if I don’t collect the cats. He was a periwinkle blue I think, and they limited each buyer to 2 each.

I collect old carnival glass. I love it, too! Do you collect mostly by color or pattern or some of each? I love the vibrant marigolds the best, but also have blue and purple pieces.

I also collect vintage and some current Fenton Mulberry, some vintage and current amberina and Blenko desert green.

Yup, it’s hard to find bargains on eBay and forget about antique malls. Their prices are way high.

I collect by what catches my eye. I’ve got all different patterns and colors and love it all. One of my favorite patterns is Fenton’s Feathered Serpent. It’s really pretty in Amethyst glass with Marigold irridescence. I prefer older glass but will really pick up anything that catches my fancy 😀

Feathered Serpent is a pretty pattern! I also like Stream of Hearts and Heart and Vine, Dragon and Lotus, Orange Tree….there’s so many nice ones. When you take pictures of your staircase, take some of your glass, too. 😀
