LOL! I bet you’re right! I’d live a little laying down baby with it’s arms curled in front of it with those piercing eyes looking up curiously at it’s possible parents? It would be like a Spectral Family =D

I had something in mind like a baby on all fours, staring straight ahead like it was ready to pounce. But I figured the legs would be too… “unsquished,” you know, good for casting. Your idea is more realistic.
The Spectral eyes are the smallest size we can get, so I can’t make the heads of Spectrals any smaller than they are.
..and a slightly different topic: I was toying with the idea of re-doing the two spectrals with normal eyes.. that would mean re-sculpting the eyesockets a little.. any thoughts on that?I could go for that. I like to Spectral size and over all presence I just did not relly like to eyes
Hmmm…that would be interesting to see. Since the spectrals have a distinct look to them (the shape of the scales and wings, etc), I don’t think it would look as good, but I could be wrong. I dunno. I’ll leave it up to the big dragon enthusiasts to decide.

Phooey. Physically speaking it should work. In nature the eyes are the only part of the body that doesn’t grow. Babies’ eyes are as big as adults’.

Noooo! Don’t change his pretty eyes! He’s got the best eyes of any of the dragons! If you have to put in normal eyes, will you pretty please bring out new colors like ruby and white with the real Spectral eyes?
Of course, if normal eyes get us a baby Spectral I’m not so much against it…
They wouldn’t be a Spectral without the Spectral eyes. I bet you could make the baby look cute with big bug eyes =)
The eyes being changed in the origional ones might be nice, but I prefer them they way they are now, thouh I know some people don’t like them that way.

They look like the mystics of the group. If all the Windstone dragons lived as part of a large community, of course the Emperors are the leaders, and the Warriors are the wise sage-like grandfathers with awesome stories to tell-then there’s the spectrals, the mystics, the Shaaman, the medicine-dragons, the healers. I can imagine the Riser, rising out of a cloud of fog or smoke towards Heaven. They’d loose those wonderful qualities with normal eyes-in my opinion.
OOO maybe you could sketch out what a baby would look like with the normal eyes? Babies have big eyes! *hopeful* or maybe you could cover up part of the eye with clay/stone so only a baby-sized proportion of the eye is actually visible. I think it would be cute to have him covering one eye with his wing or foot, so you only see one eye looking at you; like the coiled russet dragons. “You woke me up! What do you WANT!?” 😀 That way too, you’d only have to deal with one eye!
Im still hoping for a baby spectral. I dont reeeally like the idea of regular eyes in the spectral…I cant quite picture it…*looks sideways at spectrals* I agree…they wouldnt be very spectral anymore. I would still buy one, though. I have been waiting for something different for my sitting spectral. Either a different color, or hey, a new set of eyes would work, too.
