They are finally sold out, so we don’t have to try to be patient any more. Anyone have a good count as to how many really were in this batch?
I was told they are all in the second batch after the fact actually, but who knows I guess.
Really? That’s too bad 🙁 Though even if it’s true I guess there will still be people who will want to trade them.

Did I miss something? I thought the ones that were in the first set were the ones we saw on livestream and the ones today were ones that hadn’t gotten done during the livestream. Who said they were split? I’m confused!??

Hmmn, that gives me an idea for another Grab Bag type of frenzy for Melody. What about doing some more of the more sought after Youngs for the next batch? All Juggernaughts, the silvery, pink, Macaw, Paint Puke, the green/copper, etc. In short, those that everyone is posting and squealing for. Members not liking such colors can pass, and those seeking them will have a chance to get what they want or a better chance to trade for what they want.

Oh, there were still a few crazy ones in the first batch. The ones in the store photo, and also the tabby pinto, were in the 2nd batch. The “more-fantasy-ones-in-the-second-batch” thing happened by accident, not on purpose. Melody painted four shelves of unis. The top two shelves were more horsey-like, and the bottom two shelves were more crazy. And since chessie finished the unis top shelf first, second shelf second, etc, that is how it ended up being more horse colors in batch one. I didnt really think about it until after they sold. :~
Well darn it. Missed out again. One of these days I’m going to be able to order another grab bag young so I can attempt to get a grulla pinto to match Stormy, his mate and their baby.

I guess it wasn’t intentional, but it was mentioned somewhere or another (oh, pam just said it above >_< doh!) Okay so there you go.
Hopefully someday, not in the immediate future, but soon hopefully, Melody can squeeze out just a few more if she ever gets any downtime from all the other projects she is working on.

But, after the first livestream I think chess finished up a bunch of the horsey ones on the top shelves. I just noticed that after the first batch was packed, there were a whole lot of the crazier ones that she hadn’t been gotten too yet. But yes, there *were some* crazy ones in the first batch too! 🙂
Even if they didn’t want to be bothered with PMs about selling etc, they could still give photos to Hannah for the photo database
YES PLEASE!!! IF anyone is out there that doesn’t want to post their uni because they dont want to get mobbed by people begging them for it, PLEASE consider sending me some photos of it so that I can continue to compile the Grab Bag Uni Database!! I did it for a few people last time around – they took pictures with a different background than usual so it wouldn’t be obvious who owned it, and they sent it to me. I posted them in the GBU Directory and never mentioned WHO owned them. Even if it’s something that I REALLY want, I won’t even ask if you want to sell it. I totally respect it when people tell me “Hi, I want this to be anonymous because I don’t want to get mobbed, and I dont want to sell or trade.”
I swear if you want to remain anonymous, I will NOT tell anyone who owns what!! Pleaseeee, I’m begging you *beg* it’s just really fun to see all the ponies together 🙂

Like Syn, I’m not fond of my unicorns in horsey colors, especially since it basically is sculpted as a horse with a horn. I had to go out this afternoon and had totally forgotten about the 2nd batch. I came home 7pm (Phoenix time = California time) and found the email notice. Just for grins and giggles I went and checked and lo and behold, the button still said “Add to Cart”. I think I got the last two or close to it, because when I went back later, the button said “Notify when back in stock”. I am hoping for a “nice” fantasy color something line Star or Delight (Purple is my favorite color) or maybe Tain or Taryn. Perwinkle and Serif aren’t bad either. Definitely no spots and no paint-puke ones like Viva. Drag0n, if I get one like Viva, you can have it. Will definitely post pictures once it is here.
