It sounds like you might have had the fire clan…but the sorcerer clan and komodo clan also had dark red on them. Bummer you lost it in a garage sale.
My most wanted list: carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties
February 17, 2008 at 3:34 am #666199I think it was the Komodo one. Yeah, most of my stuff got sold before we moved last year. 😥 I really miss my two Dragonsite dragons. My parents sold them for $5 each. *should’ve taken them back, dies*
February 17, 2008 at 5:26 am #666200oh dear, I’m sorry about that. 🙁

February 18, 2008 at 12:41 am #666201I bought a McFarlane dragon for a friend’s son once- it was beautifully done, but had a warrior on it as I remember- and I REALLY don’t like a human element 🙄 . They might be worth looking into, but not right now!
Thanks for the link to the Dragonsite info page on the Windows of Wonder! If the forum member who kindly offered to help can’t find one with her contact, I’m going to go through that and see about getting one.
Since there’ve been hints of some new old green paintjobs, I’m going to hold back on finding out too much about the Dragonsite figures until I have gotten (or found out they won’t be made or I miss out) the Windstones. I liked Gaia, and at $70 I probably would have gotten it last year when I saw it. I wonder if they sold it at the $250, or transferred it to another store?
I saw some photos of the Bookwyrms, and they looked quite nice (I liked Black Beauty also). I’m going to hold off on them until I know more about ht eWindstone new paintjobs though. Save my money for the important things lol…wish I could see the Bookwyrms in person first.February 18, 2008 at 1:18 am #666202pipsxlch wrote:I bought a McFarlane dragon for a friend’s son once- it was beautifully done, but had a warrior on it as I remember- and I REALLY don’t like a human element 🙄 . That can explain why there is humans in some of his figures. I’m not big on the humans on them either but the dragons are well done and that’s all that matters to me.

February 28, 2008 at 3:26 am #666203Thanks for all the help… I spoke via email with a very helpful Dragonsite employee(?) Adrian, and this statue should be with me shortly!
February 28, 2008 at 1:45 pm #666204Congrats! That is great news. 😀

I know that there are collectors of these guys here, and a website. It mostly seems to be UK though and I’m stateside. Does anyone have an idea of where they can be found? I’m looking for one (just this one only) and don’t know where to begin other than eBay. I’d be willing to look outside the US, but with the weak dollar and postal rates gone outrageous… hopefully they’re here? Since I only want this one, it wouldn’t be kosher going to their website would it? (and if anyone can get their hands on one, I’d be willing to get any of the Windstones available at local shops in my Flea Market listing as trade).
Apparently it’s named Windows of Wonder and was produced in ’04. It was designed by Andrew Bill. I don’t know if it’s Enchantica or Dragonsite- is there a difference? The value according to 1 defunct retailer is about $75? I don’t know how large it is- the pic comes from an ebay auction that wouldn’t ship 😥 .
Sorry about the other product line question- I just love sea dragons, and this guy reminds me so of one.
This guy is listed on e-bay right now under Nene Thomas Dragonsite.
