**EDIT**Well it seems that someone aparently liked my idea of my “Spirit Wolves” I am really glad to see that they are liked and truly was a GREAT idea….This person, not sure if its a forum member, but they did have a pretty good idea for the war paint designs I think…thought you all might like to take a look, although the wings look too much like the very last one I did. Which both so far are proudly owned by the same person π
I hope this isnt taken the wrong way π― ….I am actually flattered by this π³ BUT, I was reminded by a special member that read this new post of mine…and with Water’s previous problem with this member, I am really NOT sure how to take this and am VERY CURIOUS OF THIS situation….I dunnno…what do you guys think of all this??? Here is the link, and PLEASE let me know what you all think.July 24, 2007 at 6:15 am #492054July 24, 2007 at 9:47 am #602945I think if you see another pyo done by someone else that you like it would be ok to add some characteristics of it into your next pyo. To copy it exactly I think is WRONG! I would be upset if it were me. I think this person needs to get some creativity and learn how to come up with thier own ideas. I know I will get flamed for my opinion but thats what it is and I’m not going to apologize for it. They also need to work on not layering the paint so thick. Just my 2 cents.
July 24, 2007 at 10:14 am #602946I would not be worried. yours are very distinctive from this one and this one is listed as Native american, so it is with in the realm of possibility that this person came up with the idea on thier own. Wolves are very commonly used in native art and story telling, so it is possible. Just sit and watch. for now it is safe and no harm is being done.
July 24, 2007 at 10:16 am #602947I just checked, the person is selling native american type things as well. I would feel safe to say that most likely they came up with the idea on thier own. it looks good to me.
July 24, 2007 at 11:18 am #602948Isn’t this the person talked about in another thread? The very one who tried to use Water’s stuff as her own?
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.
http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJuly 24, 2007 at 11:55 am #602949Yes, this seller already cheated with Water’s pictures and lied to several members of the forum. At any rate, DC, whether she took your idea or not, your work is by far better than hers. π
Her work doesn’t tend to sell. I’d be surprised if this one switched hands.July 24, 2007 at 12:06 pm #602950I agree with GB. yours are much better.
July 24, 2007 at 1:13 pm #602951July 24, 2007 at 4:34 pm #602952I agree, she does need to come up with some of her own unique ideas, but as well, can take them and turn them into something else, without the NEED of copying other peoples ideas. And Yes, this is the same person that was using Water’s pictures to sell her wolves.
Thanks KoishiiKitty and GB π³ π , I appreciate the compliments, but KoishiiKitty, when I listed my first wolf on ebay, I had in the description: Native American too…so I kinda think that this is touch and go. She did in a way duplicate a couple of my patterns, like the zig-zag lines, but moved them to the paws and the paw print she turned into a somewhat looking hand print….and the colors of the wings she tried to do too…well I guess we all are just going to have to sit back and keep a watchful eye I guess. I also dont really think that there is really anything we all can do. The Part I am woried about is..IF shes doing this to “US” members, WHAT is going to stop her from duplicating Windstones?? Thats where I see a BIGGER problem. π― πJuly 24, 2007 at 4:49 pm #602953Greywolfspiritwalker REALLY needs a swift kick in her “Creative Department”. πΏ π π π π
July 24, 2007 at 5:02 pm #602954She probably won’t copy Windstone because they have formal copyrights on their colors, but we don’t. It’s a different story for us. And also not very honest.

Thats a GOOD way of putting it LMAO π π
I DONT think I could have said it better! π
ESPECIALLY after what shes done and the way shes talked to several of us members! πΏJuly 24, 2007 at 5:07 pm #602956emerald212 wrote:She probably won’t copy Windstone because they have formal copyrights on their colors, but we don’t. It’s a different story for us. And also not very honest.
I know Emerald I agree…I already thought of that too. “WE” just being painters dont have any rights, because “technically” speaking we dont even “really” own these pieces either. They are still property of Windstone. We are just “allowed” if you will…to paint them. A shame that there isnt a way that Windstone couldnt do something or add something to this either…since they are thier property. Does this make any sense? Or am I in LaLa land…which is not unusual for me LMAO!!! π― π π
July 24, 2007 at 5:11 pm #602957She was snotty to me too when I broached the subject of Water’s paintjobs. She asked if I didn’t have anything better to do with my time. π―
Nope, I reserve my time to harrass people who seem to think they need to copy everyone else’s ideas because they aren’t creative enough to come up with a few of their own. π π
It’s flattering for someone to enjoy your works, but only annoying to have them copied over and over again. πΏ
I hope no one is silly enough by now to buy any of her “Copies”. π -
