Im a bottled water person. I made ice out of tap water in Germany and it made my soda flat. Also, when I put the ice in water, after it melted, it left llittle floaties in the water. Im sure the stuff is harmless, but it still looks gross. I am gonna invest in a more permanent plastic bottle. I mostly just reuse the regular plastic bottles a few times then recycle them.
We’ve been using reusable shopping bags for months now. Only problem I find is that the cashiers end up squishing my fruit on the bottom, so I usually pack them myself.
And the grocery stores are now charging 5¢ for a plastic bag, which is great to me. And the city can now recycle plastic bags which is a step in the right direction.
