Dragon87 Artsy Stuffs! – New Art in progress pg 2

So my friend is evil….. I can’t do wings worth *ahem* but my friend wants me to design an angel tattoo for him.

So…. sneaker pic of what I drew in my sketchbook (to see if I could even do wings). Any criticism, etc, is welcome! As long as it’s constructive!

(I haven’t done much with the primaries). Augh this picture is hard to see. But it’s more of a teaser anyway lol.

Nice shading! 😀 IMHO, what I think is missing is some longer coverts to lead to the primaries and secondaries

So this is the practically finished version of my angel. It’s missing one thing, then it’s done, but I’m not gonna post the fully finished version on the web.

I think the wings turned out quite good, actually. For a first try. And the fact that I was never good at feathers in the first place.

Next time I draw a tattoo for someone, I’m charging them. 😈

Thank you! And they are evil. And I had to try so hard to not smudge them! Not that I succeeded. The final product is trial 2 lol

It looks really great. ^^ You have a really good grasp of the “feel” of things – trust me, anatomy is important, but it can come later. If the feel of a picture isn’t right, all the perfect anatomy in the world isn’t going to save it. :}

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by the “feel” of things, but it sounds like a compliment so thanks 🙂

I just noticed her legs look really short. Maybe the page was at an angle when I took the picture….. because I’m looking at her now and they look nicely proportioned. Maybe a bit short, but nothing you wouldn’t find on a normal person. 😕

Tzila and Aries Snake.

Tzila was more of a sketch, and Aries snake was a tattoo commish for a friend.
