Really gorgeous work, Dovahkiin!

I think the little griffin is my favorite, but I’m also intrigued by the dragon. Did you dry brush him to get the subtle metallic effect on his dark scales? Or was it the finish of the paint?

Thank you, Zexious 😁👍🏻 I adore the little griffin too, he was my first ever PYO! I’m also working on 3 other sales pieces and 1 commission, so I’m building up my inventory of painted pieces; slowly but surly 😂

The Dragon was actually completely airbrushed with exception to the red+gold areas on his claws, dorsal scales and the large scales on the sides of his neck; those were hand painted with a brush. To get the gold shimmer effect, once I finished painted him, I took some gold pearlized airbrush paint and sprayed some very light layers over his body 😁

Love the unicorn.Gorgeous.I am a huge fan of blue on black.I am curious though about why,on the other two,you didn’t use the Windstone Editions’pad?

Bodine, the Kitty Griffin and the Black/Gold/Red dragon were the first Windstone Pieces I had ever seen or painted, and I did not know what the pad was for; I had not even realized it was a pad to go on the bottom. Once I was made aware of what they were, the two pieces had already been sold and reached their new home, and the pads had long since been thrown away. The Unicorn and my newest piece, the purple and silver dragon, have theirs.

And thank you, I also love blue on black!
