I am looking for a tablet and program to play with, ie nothing too expensive, under 200ish kinda thing, and it has to be something that will work with a mac, any suggestions?

Highly recommend a Wacom Bamboo to start (I used the older equivalent for 5 years professionally, they are quite nice for the price!). For art programs, what sort of art do you want to make? Are you looking to make something that looks and feels like traditional art (painting digitally) or are you aiming for a more.. well.. digital look?
Some programs to explore that won’t break the bank. I don’t know about their compatibility with macs, but I know at least Painter Essentials will work with a mac.

December 19, 2010 at 12:54 pm #833881lol for a while I was trying to sell my Bamboo, but then I decided to keep it even though it doesn’t work right (so you probably wouldn’t want it anyways XD). 😳

As you found out, it sure will!
But yikes, CS4 is very expensive! Were you looking for less expensive alternatives?Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
