I haven’t been on the forum in a while but wanted to share my latest creation! This is Ragnarök the Volcano Lion! I am so incredibly happy with how this guy turned out. He has been a labor of love from start to finish, made literally with blood, sweat and tears! I sculpted his face in Super Sculpey, and his claws are cast resin from my original sculpt. He has orange glass eyes with red speckles. He has been hand painted in my “Volcano” theme and then designed with his theme colors. Each of his mane dreads and braids were individually needle felted and beaded. His necklace includes an orange howlite pendant, yak bone tiger head beads from Thailand, and lava-like glass beads on each side of the tiger head beads. He has braided and beaded bracelets on both of his wrists. His tail fluff is individually needle felted and beaded. He is huge, measuring approx. 21″ tall by 18″ wide.

I am extremely excited about Ragnarök and I’m looking forward to taking my art in this direction! I plan to work towards creating creature art dolls full time! 🙂
