My b/f gave me a new refrigerator, stove and microwave for a combined birthday and Christmas gift this year and that makes me happy as I was going to have to replace the microwave soon anyway. He said he got tired of hearing me complain about the stove and the microwave the builder put in the house so he upgraded them. He is a perfectionist about things and measured the height and width where the refrigerator goes but forgot to measure the space to get it into the kitchen and it was 3″ to deep and 3″ to wide to go thru the opening – boy was it a job to get that thing in but we managed. Then he put an online ad in the local paper and sold the old refrigerator and stove and junked the microwave because it was shot . Last year for Christmas he replaced the cabinet doors in the kitchen and both bathrooms and changed the handles to the ones I wanted. This house was a model before I bought it – there was 8 models and every house had something thing standard – I got the kitchen and bathrooms. These are pictures of the new cabinets and appliances. I told him not to replace the dishwasher because I had replaced it less than two years ago.
That’s very way cool (as me boyohs say) That’s very thoughtful of him! Better hang on to him 😀

Very nice of the hubby to replace the appliances – I hope they last like appliances used to!
(since we all know nothing lasts like they used to)
