😀 Hi Melody,
I’m sorry but I did not know where to post this and since you are the creator of Windstones, who better to ask.
I was wondering if in the future it would be possible to put a collectors book on all the special pieces that were painted by either you, Jennifer or Olimpia. I’m a member of Country artists collection and they will have books (hard cover) with special pieces in it. It is something that is offered to members only. I thought it would be a great idea so members can keep in memory and view again and again those wonderful pieces.September 26, 2007 at 2:40 am #492749September 26, 2007 at 2:58 am #620601I voted yes. But, I have my own in progress at the time. Every time I get it caught up another something new or somethings new come out and I am in the hole again. I am running aobut 6 months behind currently…Yikes! (All pieces, not just the “speacial” ones.)
I don’t plan to publish the book anyway so its not really for everyone. Besides I am not quite sure how the copyright thing would go on that…I would think to publish it, that Windstone (Melody, John, and Co.)would have to give whomever did it the ok first.
But, I am sure it would be my first non-fiction book purchase in years if it was available. 😀September 26, 2007 at 3:04 am #620602That’s a great idea…I would love to have one with pictures of all the different Windstones over the years….that would be so awsome… 😆

September 26, 2007 at 3:07 am #620603I collect Fantasy art books and books that have collections I like (the Country Artists figurines collection for example) so this book would be just like an fantasy art book only it would be the Windstone collection.
September 26, 2007 at 3:07 am #620604Yes for me! I want to show my grandkids in the future… See, children, this is what the most beautiful sculptures looked like. And this was just before the hypertechnical holographic model came out…. Reminiscant!

Hey that is really neat…I collect all of the Country Artist Tigers, I have some of their books as well….I just love them they are so realistic looking.
But that is pretty much all I collect on a regular basis…the country artist tigers and windstones. 😆Marzena
September 26, 2007 at 3:17 am #620606Aren’t they great? In the Country Artists I collect some wildlife, cats, birds and equine. 😆 Did you know that Enesco Limited aquired Coutry Artists and that now we can’t order dirrect from them anymore? 🙁
September 26, 2007 at 3:43 am #620607I think it would be neat, but it’s nothing important. I’d rather have more pieces.
September 26, 2007 at 3:49 am #620608Hallmark does a book every year. They only make their ornaments once then break the molds. I have been collecting Barbie Hallmark ornaments for years, since the start. I may end up putting them on e-bay soon the get the money for my house. I’m tired of collecting them. I have almost ALL the Hallmark ornaments they have EVER made of her including a number of the member only ornaments
September 26, 2007 at 3:52 am #620609I’d buy a book if one was made. But if it took too much time away from actual pieces, I’d rather have the sculpts. So maybe if someone else had the primary task of compiling it, and at least some of the legal mumbojumbo….
September 26, 2007 at 3:57 am #620610I think it would be a great idea 🙂
