I put the graham craacker on a microwave safe plate, then place a piece of chocolate, then the jumbo marshmallow on top. Then microwave on 15 seconds. (my microwave is on high) Then when it comes out I place the other cracker on top. (like a sandwich) This is where you can also see if 15 seconds is enough for your microwave. My mom’s microwave takes about 25 seconds. So if it isn’t all smooshy when you put that other cracker on top, change the time little by little. ๐Ÿ˜€

Doesn’t the marshmallow inflate to 10 times it’s size and then turn hard as a rock afterwards? That’s what happened when uh…my cats…yeah, that’s the ticket…my cat’s tried it for 15 seconds in the microwave yesterday. ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Haha! Well, your cats need to probably consider how high of a wattage your microwave is and you may need less time. Tell your cats that I said to stand by and watch. You will see the marshmallow inflate a bit, but not any bigger than the cracker piece it’s on. (when I make them, I break the cracker into two pieces) But your microwave may be a higher wattage than mine. I don’t have any problems with it hardening either. Oh! And tell your cats that marshmallow is a pain to get out of fur so they may want to get some help from you. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yeah, my cats have a pretty high wattage microwave, but it was only 10 seconds before I stopped them from their mischief, and it was still a disaster! :negative: ๐Ÿ™„

I’ve always had the problem with the marshmallow hardening, too. We now make what we call “Solar Smores”. It’s so friggin’ hot down here, we just put them outside for a few minutes and it works perfectly. Our summer campers love it! 8)

If you don’t feel like waiting for 5 minutes, you can always put them in your car on the dashboard. Instant smores! :yum:

I love to cook, and would love to come over and show you, but……..airfare for me and my two kids would be INSANE!!!!!!!!! LOL I could make them and send them, but I think that a hard marshmallow would be the least of your problems. hehehe ๐Ÿ˜€ XD
