Awwwwwww, thanks Greater B. =) I’m still curious to see what my Bubba’s Fund griffin will pull in for me. I decided on a green eyed griffin, but I still don’t know how I want to paint him. I kind of want it to be grey and white like him, but I’m not sure. It doesn’t give me many color options and I want it to be really worth the money I hope to get for it.
I’m dreading that bill!!! You have no idea. It should be coming in any day now! EEEEP!

For some reason I think the green-eyed griffs have the most color options. Maybe I just have the most ideas for one. But making a gray Bubbas-like griff with greenish interference paint and green wings – that’s the the first thing that comes to my mind.

That’s what impressed me from the start. Her blending is awesome. I left rough edges on Cerberus’s feathers on purpose, so it looks like natural chunks of lava – but after seeing the firebird I almost thought it looked sloppy! 🙂

and back around the time it was drawn, i randomly found that image (maybe on Elfwood? I can’t even remember now @_@) and i distinctly remember printing out a copy of that image and affixing it to my highschool agenda because it was soooooo awesome! 😀
