Also selling “Change of Season” Kirin pyo…he’s been part of my personal collection for a long while, due to a smudge on one of his belly scales. I really hope he finds a good home, I’ve gotten rather attached to him. π His colors are really lovely.
December 4, 2010 at 2:16 am #813535Both are lovely! Change of Seasons is my favorite, I think π
Purplecat, I’ve been meaning to ask you, do you ever do PYO commissions anymore? I have a small PYO dragon that you did a couple summers ago, Butterfly Seafoam. I love him so much, and I’d dearly like to have a keeper to match him, if you ever have time and inclination to paint one!
December 4, 2010 at 2:25 am #813536Oh! I remember the Butterfly Seafoam! He was a lovely little fellow, I very nearly didnt sell him! π I dont do commissions anymore, with the really busy schedule I’ve had, I just havent had the time. Also, I was experimenting when I did the Butterfly Seafoam color and I’m not even entirely sure I could match him….he really is a special little guy.
December 4, 2010 at 3:09 am #813537He certainly is! I really do treasure him π I thought you probably didn’t do commissions now, but had to ask anyway, haha.

December 6, 2010 at 7:14 am #813539The dragon is gorgeous, but I particularly love the kirin π .
December 6, 2010 at 9:56 am #813540That Keeper demands that I stop and look at it every time I see it on Ebay π Wonderful job!

December 19, 2010 at 6:37 pm #813542Not sure yet whether I’ll be selling this fellow…if anyone is really interested, they can pm me with offers…but I’m considering keeping this one
I painted him in all my favorite colors, copper, gold and iridescent blue, and dusted the stone he’s perched on with different interference paints, so that it shimmers and changes hue as you turn it.
December 19, 2010 at 6:39 pm #813543Wow – too pretty! I love the blue accents!

December 19, 2010 at 9:08 pm #813547I’m curious….now that pyo phoenixes are in stock pretty regularly, would anyone be interested in it if I decided to do a couple more phoenixes in this color? I’ve already had one or two offers on this one, and I really enjoyed painting her.
I could do a very small run of them, maybe five or six…I would keep this first one to use as a reference sample, so I could match them up as close as possible. They would be $175 plus shipping apiece.
If you’re definately interested, and would like me to order a phoenix to paint for you in this color, just pm me and we’ll discuss payment…I do take time payments, and have often worked things out with folks who are interested in buying art, but dont have a pile of money sitting around (isnt that soooo many of us! π ). Either way, let me know what you think! π

I’m drooling over it, but I just can’t say yes. There are about a dozen things I’ve seen–especially phoenixes–that I’ve seen and want here. And an AL OW. Omg. I need to win the lottery.
