December 21, 2006 at 11:51 pm #518174Oh he is a cute kid. You can definately tell they are father and son.
December 21, 2006 at 11:57 pm #518175I was thinking the same thing
December 22, 2006 at 6:02 pm #518176He is adorable! Still sending healing energy and good thoughts!
December 22, 2006 at 7:59 pm #518177That picture made me cry. What a sweet little boy! I am so sorry that the family is going through such a rough time, but I have always heard that whatever doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger. Losing grandma arount the holidays is so sad though; my uncle died of cancer on Christmas eve, and it was very hard that year.
On a positive note, at least Christians have the comfort of knowing that we will be getting together with our departed loved ones again in Heaven! 😀Sending prayers your way…

Ummm, im not the one that got offended by the religious comment. I have no problem with any religion as long as I am not put down for what I believe just because it is different from what you believe. I really appriciate your thoughts and prayers for my friends. Thank you!
December 25, 2006 at 1:15 pm #518180Just an update:
Merry Christmas Everyone !!!! We celebrated our Christmas together last night. Boy there were alot of presents. Jace was able to stay up through dinner and about 1/2 his presents then wanted to lay down. Of course once he laid down, he had to open the rest. We especially want to thank Mom’s cousins Roger and Rosalyn Haaland for opening their home and helping Mom cook the meal for us. I see Santa has arrived and Jace will be awake soon. To all our family & friends, we wish your a joyous Christmas.
December 25, 2006 at 1:18 pm #518181Thanks for the pic, Ski. I’m glad he’s doing better.
December 27, 2006 at 4:30 pm #518182Just an update! I am glad he is feeling better, but they dont make any mention if he can walk, or how therapy is going ❓ I know its a blessing that he is alive, I guess I was just hoping for more. Its hard to think of a little boy who cant walk…esp since I have a little boy around the same age.
Good morning…..Guess what?! Were home!!! Sorry I couldn’t write yesterday but they kept us busy all day discharging us and then I had to turn in the labtop they borrowed us. On to our first night home…it was wonderful!!! Jace slept through the night and he is starting to become the little boy we all know and love. We have to cathodize him twice a day and he is still on the blood thinning medicine but thats all for meds. He is playing with his sister and cousin and thay are already fighting….I never thought hearing them fight would be music to my ears…LOL. Well I gotta go and give him his bath and brush his teeth and then were off to therapy. Thank you all for everything you have done. Love Always Angie.
PS. Angie is my friend from HS.
December 27, 2006 at 4:46 pm #518183That’s great! I really hope he makes a full recovery.
December 27, 2006 at 4:54 pm #518184Me too. At least he sounds like he’s getting along quite well, no trauma or anything…
December 27, 2006 at 4:57 pm #518185I guess he has nightmares, but that is the extent of his trauma so far.
