BVP OWs? Flap Cats?

Hiya Melody! I know you guys are busy, but will there be more Old Warriors in the future? The store has been sold out of the Black Violet Peacock and Black Gold forever.

Also, will there be a restock of flap cats any time soonish? Especially the large eyes open orange flapper and the black with sunset wings and no moustashe.

I think this mostly had to do with casting problems; they were holding off on casting the larger pieces with a smooth finish (vs. stone finish) until the bubble problem was gone. So, how is casting going, Melody? 🙂

thank you!! 😀 I will need to check the casting agenda list; I don’t remember seeing lg flappers on there. If we aren’t seriously in need of something else maybe I can squeeze them on there for casting in the next week or two.
Small bird wing flapcats got cast last week.
We haven’t been casting Old Warriors because of the pewter problem! We are running out of gold-plated horns for things, and haven’t found a local company who can make them. We tried having a batch of horns plated by a new company and they totally screwed them up.

Casting is doing well! We still have some strange problems with certain pieces not coming out properly, like the Emperor dragon, but for the most part the gypsum is working now.

Oy. So…what WAS wrong with casting? Looks like things are rolling again. I don’t know exactly what was wrong. You’d need a chemist to explain it, but the new formulation of gypsum is now behaving, somewhat.
