I guess we will never know how much it would of gone unless it did sell to someone and unless they confess or the seller joins.
August 14, 2007 at 10:31 pm #607547I didn’t even notice it had ended until I read this. 😳 Sorry to everyone who was bidding.

Wow, neither did I…
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
August 15, 2007 at 5:52 am #607550Everyone wants to snipe. It makes it really easy for someone to go offer the guy like, $500 for it. The seller… who has not seen the price rise in days and who wants a good deal, and has no idea what it will go for, sees the offer as a god send. I think its really wrong to offer for something that has bids on it, (Esp if we know its forum members bidding… which in this case, we do) but hey, the seller gets his money, and the snipers get foiled.
Put in your bids early to show the seller some interest. He deserves a good price, and with something like this, we know its not gonna go low.
Or maybe it just broke.
August 15, 2007 at 6:58 am #607551Does the seller know what a bidder’s max bid is??? I’ve sold lots of stuff on ebay and I’ve never figured out how to do that…not that I’ve tried real hard…but I know I’ve looked at least once.
And Nam, you are right – It’s possible it got pulled for legitimate reasons. And if that’s the case, I’m a huge jerk! Sorry!

Nope. Then the seller could have another person or another account and up the bidder till a penny under his max bid or something. That would not be fair. A seller has no idea what a max bid is on his item.
August 15, 2007 at 8:13 pm #607553I contacted the seller about the big guy, and apparently he fell, broke, and was thrown away!!! Worst case scenario is that nobody gets him 😥 Why is it that all of the emperors on the market lately end up smashed, heh?
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!

😆 That candle burned all Christmas 😀
I’m glad you enjoyed it: -) That’s the rule – if you send the box back, it has to have something in it. 😆
August 15, 2007 at 8:43 pm #607555Aw, how sad! I would have tried to fix him. 😕

That is too bad. If someone only contacted them sooner and offered to buy the broken peices.
August 17, 2007 at 2:15 pm #607558What a pity! I bet somebody on here could have fixed him.
August 17, 2007 at 6:24 pm #607559I sent the Ebay seller a message about the Forum and how there are several members who would love to have the broken emperor and could fix him. Here is his reply
I wish i hyad known about that before it went out in the trash. I would have relisted him. I did not know that he would be wanted broken. We normally do not sell chipped, or broken items. -
