Boxes and Tags

some of you have said that a tag and a box lets you know how well the previous owner took care of them. not all windstones came with a tag to begin with. didnt the tags attached to the felt appear only about 7-8 years ago? some pieces were retired before there were tags.

how does that knowlege affect your decision?

thanks. i like the discussion. Yes,you are correct. The tags are not on the older peices. If it did not come with a hang tag, as the older ones did not, it would not matter to me. If its one of the newer ones, I would prefer a hang tag, though it is not a must. I would still affect my bidding a little.
